On February 16, 2007, at age 50, our beautiful angel left this life behind, for her place with Jesus in Heaven. We will miss her fabulous smile, her contagious sense of humor and the amazing presence she brought to any room. Throughout her entire life, Sheri's priorities remained constant, 'Family, Home and Friends'. Sheri's life revolved around her 'boys' Chris (husband), Joe and Julian (sons), her extended family and a close network of friends. Always a light, always an anchor. Sheri truly enjoyed the past 10 years of employment at Okemos High School, working with her friends in the kitchen and serving meals to the kids she liked so much. Previously, Sheri spent 12 years as a server at Pistachio's restaurant in East Lansing, and prior to that several years as a server at The Seahawk restaurant in Williamston. Sheri was blessed with a gift that she often shared with friends and family, a wonderful singing voice, sultry and bluesy. Sheri's impromptu performances at parties and local pubs will be missed. Sheri was a talented home decorator, she also enjoyed golfing with her girlfriends. Our sweet girl fought her battle against disease with a never ending spirit, grace and inspirational strength, which is no surprise to those close to her, she is a true hero. Sheri is finally at peace in Heaven, surrounded by loving, caring angels who have passed over before her. We're sure she's sitting on a beach, toes in the sand, sipping a margarita and watching a beautiful sunset. No more pain, no more worry.
