Age 82. Seija was born in Lahti, and educated in Helsinki, Finland where she received a degree in nursing and proudly practiced for 40 years.

Seija came to the United States in 1959, where she met Arnold C. Usitalo. They joined together in marriage on June 4, 1960.

Seija was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran church for more than 50 years.

She is the beloved wife of the late Arnold C. (d. May 13, 2008). Survived by daughter, Lisa (Bob) Lawrance; son, Steven A. Usitalo and his spouse Margarita Aroutiunian; and her pride and joy grand-daughter, Izabella.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 11th, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 35300 W. Eight Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48335.
