Age 74 of Southfield.

Beloved wife of Fred L. Jr. for 53 years. Loving mother of Fred L. (Karen) Stuard III, Ellen (Carl) Shubitowski and Sarah (Steve) Savela. Cherished grandmother of Fred, Alaina, Jennifer, Brandon, Alex, Kelly and Daniel. Dear sister-in-law of Joan and Alice. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a retired Registered Nurse at Sinai-Grace Hospital, and an enthusiastic knitter and a member of the Trinity Stitch Club.

Funeral service will be held Monday, April 20th 10:00 a.m. (in state at 9:30 a.m.) at Trinity Episcopal Church, 26880 La Muera Street, Farmington Hills.
Visitation Saturday and Sunday 2-8 PM at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Ave.
