Ruth E. Spanberger nee Wuolukka. 81 years old. Wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born September 21, 1926, Died August 25, 2008 at Beaumont Hospital from complications due to cancer. Preceded in death by husband George. Survived by a daughter, Susan Kadaj; son, Kurt; two grandsons, Eric Kadaj (Dana); and Phillip Kadaj (Tonya); three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicholas and Alena. Very active at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on 8 Mile in Farmington Hills, MI. Private family service with cremation following. Memorials should be sent to Beaumont Hospice.
