Age 76. Beloved husband of Elaine for 57 years. Loving father of Scott Maifert and Linda (Jonathan) Frankel. Proud grandfather of Jeffrey, Ashley, the late Kim, and Sydney. Dear brother of the late Donald Maifert.

Ross's art and joy was photography. He was a Darkroom Technician for the Kaiser Display Company for 34 years; Pick Davis Graphics for 10 years; and George P. Johnson for fours years seasonally for the Detroit International Autoshow.

Ross loved his family, enjoyed Country & Western music, and tending to his fish in his aquatic garden.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church of Birmingham, 1589 West Maple Rd., Birmingham, MI 48009. Pastor Rodney F. Quainton presiding.
