Robert (Bob) Earl Stanger of Novi, Michigan passed away on April 24, 2020 at the age of 90.

Bob was born July 26, 1929 in Bloomington, Indiana. He was the son of Chester and Lucille (Engledow) Stanger.

While Bob was born in Indiana, he spent most of his life in Michigan. Bob served in the U.S. Navel Reserves, was a graduate of Wayne State University (earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering) and worked at Ford Motor Company for more than 30 years. Bob was a faithful member of the Lord's church for his entire adult life and served as a church Elder prior to his death. After retiring, Bob learned and loved to paint, and his artwork was widely shared. He immensely enjoyed vacation time with his family.

Bob was the loving husband of Beverly for 68 years. He was the father of Corrine (Ken) Racine, Brad (Linda) Stanger, K.C. (Nora) Stanger, Holly (Derrick) Gordon, and Kelly (Varant) Blasingame. He was the grandfather of 10 and the great grandfather of 5. He had additional "heartfelt" foster children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His loving smile and gentle nature will be missed by all.
