Beloved wife of the late John William Selkman.
Loving mother of John J., Joseph W., and Michael J. Selkman.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rita was a graduate of St. Mary's Nursing Academy and worked as a career registered nurse at many Detroit area hospitals for 40 years.

Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:30 a.m. (in state 10:00 a.m.) at Church of the Holy Family, 24505 Meadowbrook, Novi.

Visitation Monday 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-9 p.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Ave., Downtown Farmington.

Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
