Age 73. Loving mother of Thomas (Briana) Bosworth. Cherished grandma of Jacob. Dear sister of the late Mary Jo Laird (Jim) and dear sister-in-law of Sandy Reeves. Beloved aunt of Morgan, Jan and Nancy; great-aunt of Rachell, Cole and Cade.

Peggy graduated from Wiley High School in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was an undergraduate at Indiana State University and received her Master's degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. After retiring from the public school systems of Detroit, Livonia, and Plymouth-Canton she became an adjunct instructor at Schoolcraft College for four years.

Peg was a volunteer at Providence Hospital in Southfield, and generously donated her time and monetary tributes to many charities and organizations over the years. She was also very involved in the Farmington Village activities. Her knitting group made and donated hats and scarfs for the homeless. In her free time, Peg was an avid reader, especially enjoying mystery stories. She was also a big Detroit Lions, Pistons and Tigers fan.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 7th, at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Downtown Farmington. Rev. Marshall G. Dunlap, Pastor of First United Methodist Church of Farmington will officiate. Private interment at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.

Her family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, February 6th, from 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
