Age 74. Beloved husband of Joanne. Loving father of Teresa (Jeff), the late Paul (Xiomara), John, Kathleen (Kevin), Daniel and Maureen (Terry). Proud grandfather of Kyle, Megan, Leslie Marie, Grace, Matthew, John, Justin and Claire. Dear son of Paul and Gertrude Emerson; brother of Catherine and Jean.

Paul was a U.S. Army Veteran (1955-1957). He worked in sales all his life beginning at J.L. Hudson Co. in Detroit, the Hickock Belt & Leather Co., and Munsingwear Men's Wear. Paul loved sports and was deeply devoted to his family, friends and Catholic Faith.

Funeral Tuesday 11 a.m. Mass (in state 10 a.m.) at St. Mary of Redford Church, 14601 Mansfield (at Grand River Avenue). Officiant Rev. Fr. Robert McCabe, Pastor.

Visitation Monday 3-9 p.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, downtown Farmington (1 blk. W. of Farmington Road).

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
