Age 57. Passed away on September 8, 2018 at his home in Brighton. He was born on February 3, 1961 to Paul and Helen (Frantti) in Detroit. He graduated from South Lyon High School, and later Michigan Tech University. Neil was united in marriage to Christina (Witt) on June 9, 1984.

Neil was a member of the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Howell.

Preceding in death were his parent, Paul and Helen, Step mother Verna, a brother Eric, and his dear son Eric.

Surviving are his wife, Christina of Brighton; three daughters, Emily (Tom) Halonen of Howell, Molly (Jared) Aho of Kearsarge, Bethany (Trent) Ylitalo of Buffalo, MN; two sons Chad (Adena) of Howell, Drew at home and 12 grandchildren; in-laws, William and Betty Witt. Also survived by his sisters Karen, Judith (Mark) Storm, Jean, Susan (Gordie) Heinonen, Mary (Dan) Eskola; brothers John (Doris), Robert (Lisa), James (Cindy), Carl (Denise), Alan (Beth), Brian (Carol), Bruce (Brieta), David (Tara) and Aaron (Molly) and numerous step-brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 11th at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2970 Oak Grove Road, Howell with Pastor Donald Pennala officiating.
Burial will follow at the Howell Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Howell and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
