Michael J. Breckenridge, age 77 of Novi, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, September 6, 2019.

He was born February 9, 1942 in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, the son of Kenneth and Eileen Breckenridge.

Michael worked as a Master Electrician for General Motors and was a proud committee member of the U.A.W. He served his community as a firefighter for the Farmington Hills Fire Department. Michael also served as the Worshipful Master of the Northville Masonic Lodge and was a member of the congregation at Nardin Park United Methodist Church.

Beloved husband of 27 years to Jayne; loving father of Douglas Breckenridge, Jason Breckenridge, Amanda DuLac and Patrick DuLac; proud grandfather of Andrew Breckenridge, Sean Breckenridge, Ethan Breckenridge and Liam Breckenridge; caring brother of Julie Wigal and Susan York.

Michael was predeceased by his first wife of 28 years, Saundra.

The Breckenridge family will receive guests at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 11th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, September 12th at 11:00 am followed by prayers at Parkview Memorial Cemetery where he will be laid for eternal rest.

Memorials in memory of Michael are suggested to either the Northville Masonic Lodge (106 East Main Street, Northville, MI 48176) that will directly support their college scholarship programs and holiday food bank for local families or Nardin Park United Methodist Church (29887 W Eleven Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336).
