Beloved husband of the late Marie for 56 years.

and the late Marlene Macko.
Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Emily, Erika, Timothy, Nathan, Francie, and Elizabeth.
Dear brother of Doris (Arthur) Toellner, Helen (Jerry) Waldkoetter, the late Marion Dubois,
the late Norman Walck, and the late Chester Walck.
Also survived by his son-in-law, John (Amy) Macko.

Melvin graduated from Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana in 1943, with a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for Bell Aircraft, and later for Ford Motor Company, Tractor and Implement Division, from which he retired in 1987 after 30 years of service.

Funeral Saturday 10:30 a.m. (in state 10 a.m.) at St. John Lutheran Church, 23225 Gill Road, Farmington Hills. Pastor Bruce Weber officiating.

Visitation Friday 5-8 p.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Ave., downtown Farmington (1 blk. W. of Farmington Rd.).
