Marion Jean Ward, age 82, passed away March 6, 2020 from heart failure at her home in South Lyon, Michigan.

She was born April 11, 1937 in Casey, Illinois to Robert Endres and Tollis Snyder Simpson. She worked for Michigan Bell where she met her husband, they were married 58 years.

She dedicated her life to Christ at her Brightmoor Christian Church where she volunteered, worked and lead in numerous rolls and ministries with the church, Prime Timers, Convoy of Hope, Sunday School teacher, Missionettes, RFCK, Funeral team, Sunshine shop, Circle Ruth to mission trips. She loved to read, bead and color. She was a loving, caring and giving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who always put serving others before herself. She loved her sweets, loved rolls with dinner, and mentoring those to Christ.

Marion is survived by her husband, two of seven siblings, Helen Simpson Pridemore and Lindy Simpson McCoy. She had two daughters Diane Ward McCabe who passed in 2015 and surviving daughter Janice Ward Bradford, two grandchildren Carolyn McCabe Deitrich and Kevin McCabe. She leaves behind a void with family and friends, that will take a village to fill.

Visitation will be held at Thayer Rock Funeral Home 33603 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI 48335, Sunday, March 15, from 2-6pm.

Funeral services will be held at Brightmoor Christian Church 40800 W. 13 Mile Novi, MI 48377, Monday, March 16th, Visitation one hour before the service at 11:00 am.

The family requests donatations to Brightmoor Christian Church, RFKC program in lieu of flowers.
