Margaret Konosky of Dearborn Heights passed away peacefully on Friday March 13, 2020 at the age of 96. Born in Highland Park, Michigan to William and Eleanor Hildunen. Marbie was the beloved wife of the late Julius Konosky. Loving mother of Katherine, Mary (Guy), Joseph, and Daniel. She was the treasured Grandma of Jayne, Margaret, Max, Eleanor, and Julien and a great grandma to six boys.

Marbie loved to cook and shop, the latter much to Julius's chagrin who often teased that they would be multi-millionaires if not for that. She was the grandmaster chef of Thanksgiving dinner and of the most amazing pasties and cherry pies. Some of her many favorite things included going to the camp, saunas, beach walks, campfires, singing, swimming, children, animals of all sorts, and especially coffee and doughnuts. Her loving ways, generosity, and kindness will live on in all who met her.

In addition, Marbie would volunteer her time for the march of dimes collecting from neighbors and friends (back when you went door to door for collections). In addition, she was an ardent supporter of injured veteran charities.

She was preceded in death by two of her children, Kathy and Joe, and her three siblings Billy, Phyllis, and Dotty.

She leaves behind her dear brother in law Jack, and many loved nieces and nephews including Kris, Nancy, and Tom to whom she was especially close.

Margaret will be laid to rest in a private service at Glen Eden Memorial Park , Livonia Michigan.
