Obituary

Marcia Lynn (Brown) Poole, 73, a longtime resident of Berkley, Michigan passed away peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak on April 10, 2020.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 11, 1947, the daughter of John B. and Evelyn Brown. Marcia graduated from Berkley High School in 1965 and earned two Associates Degree from Oakland Community College as a working adult. She retired from InductoHeat in Madison Heights in 2012 and valued maintaining her longtime relationships with co-workers.

Marcia was the loving wife of James Poole, who pre-deceased her in death in 2016; beloved sister of Lynnae Ruttledge and brother-in-law Ed Ruttledge of Salem, Oregon; and treasured god-mother to five god-daughters. Marcia is survived by Sandi, her loving 18 year old cat; everyone that knew Marcia, knew how much she loved her cat.

Marcia cherished her family, her friends and the family members of friends that invited her to holiday and family celebrations. Regretfully, there will be no gathering at this time to celebrate Marcia's life. Her wish would be for you to enjoy take-out Chinese food, to find a place in your heart to love and nurture kitties and cats, and to always take time to celebrate each other's 'Special Day' (your birthday). A special 73rd birthday celebration on January 11, 2020 with her sister, her second cousin and family held in West Bloomfield was a lovely tribute to Marcia and much appreciated.
