Obituary

Loretta Agnes Bell was born on a Friday March 9th, 1934 to Raymond and Martina Kroetch in Detroit, Michigan. The number one song was by Eddy Duchin "Did you ever see a dream walking?" This is so fitting because if you were near Loretta, she was just that. A dream. Loretta raised three daughters, 9 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was truly a mother to all. Motherhood was just one part of Loretta. She was a lover of music and had a beautiful alto voice. She loved a hot cup of coffee and took her eggs over medium. She loved the sci-fi channel, and listening to the birds sing. She was a gardener, a mathematician, a comedian, a teacher, and a true friend. Loretta was anything you needed her to be. She was intelligent and poised. She cared deeply for people and animals alike. To know Loretta was to know warmth and kindness, to be loved by her was to know unconditional love. That is the greatest gift of all. That is her legacy.

Loretta got a head start to paradise leaving behind three daughters Brenda Bruckner of Georgia, Tina Parks of Michigan, and Maurina West of Texas. Grandchildren Amber, Anna, Angel, Elton, Noah, Martina, Andrew, and Ashley. And 15 great- grand children! She is preceded in death by her parents; many adored pets; and her beloved grandson Mark with whom she could not wait to spoil in Heavan.

Loretta's life was devoted to her children. Her grandchildren brought her the most joy. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Children's Hospital of Michigan on her behalf.
