Linda Degenhardt (nee Thomas) age 74, of Redford, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 24, 2018.

She was born February 4, 1944 in Highland Park, Michigan, the daughter of the late William Carroll and Hazel Thomas (nee West).

Beloved husband of 53 years Richard Degenhardt; loving mother of Lori (Michael) Anderson and Lisa (William) Ryan; proud grandmother of Chelsea (Christopher) Clay, Austin Ryan (fiancé Jessica Pendo) and Matthew DeWitt; mother-in-law Betty Degenhardt, son-in-law John DeWitt, also one niece, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Sadly, Linda was preceded in death by her parents William and Hazel Thomas, brother James William Thomas, Niece Carol Lynn Thomas, Nephew Gordon Craig Thomas, father-in-law Carl Degenhardt and sister-in-law Armilla Thomas (nee New)

The Degenhardt family will receive guests on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

A Funeral Service for Linda is planned for Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM, (gathering 10:00 AM) at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home Downtown Farmington.

Interment will follow at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association
