Kirk Lee Gustafson, age 61 of Farmington class of 1976, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 10, 2020.

Kirk was born in Detroit, Michigan September 21, 1958, the son of the late Lester and Raema Gustafson.

Beloved husband of 33 years to Susan; beloved father of Kyle Gustafson, Andrea Gustafson (Short) (Tony and Mason Short); dear brother of Sandra Hall; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Kirk had many talents. He was an electrician, auto mechanic (Ferris Alum). He could build or repair almost anything. He loved sports, especially his Red Wings. He was an avid fisherman, and hunter. Spending time with his children and dogs was the highlight of his life.

Kirk was a great storyteller, quick witted and thought he was a great dancer. He even performed at his daughter's wedding in October 2019 to his favorites, Stanky Leg, the Wobble and more. He was loved by many friends from as far back as grade school. He was always the Life of the party and you knew when he was in the room.

He will be deeply missed, and the stories will continue forever.

A Celebration of Life for Kirk will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 15th, at Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48374.
