Kenneth G. Marshall, age 90, of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully Saturday evening August 17, 2019.

Ken was born July 23, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Clarence and Pauline (Prevost) Marshall.

He worked in food service his entire career, retiring in 1995. He graduated from Catholic Central High School, Detroit and attended University of Detroit for one year. Ken was a member of The Food Service Executive Association, Knights of Columbus St. Francis Council, and Our Lady of Sorrows Usher Association. Ken enjoyed word search puzzles, jig saw puzzles, golfing, bowling, playing cards of any kind and dining with his many friends.

Beloved husband of the late Mary A. (Karey), for 65 years; devoted children Dr. Susan (Patrick) Hayes, the late Michael (Mercedes) Marshall, Sandra "Sam" Marshall, the late Steven Marshall, Nancy (the late Roy) Williams (Tom Dolnicek), John Marshall and Mary Kay (Matt) Stelling; cherished grandfather of Donovan Eleo (Gina), Kenneth Keala, Elliott Kapono (Amy) Marshall, Laura Gillette, Thomas Williams, Julia Williams, Jonathon Stelling and Melanie Stelling; great grandfather of Duke Levan and Roman Tobias Marshall; dear brother of Polly Marshall, Pat (Phil) Potter, Bill (Jutta) Marshall, Judy Marshall, the late Joy (the late Ed) Beckwell, the late Jim (the late Mabel) Marshall and the late Clare (the late Juanita) Marshall.

The Marshall family will receive guests at the funeral home from 2:00 – 8:00 pm with a 7:00 pm Scripture Service on Friday, August 23, 2019.

Ken's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday morning, August 24th, at 10:00 am (in state 9:30) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church 23615 Power, Rd. Farmington. Rev. Fr. Mark S. Brauer will preside. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield

Memorial tributes in memory of Ken may be made to Angela Hospice or Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School, The Saints for Tomorrow Fund.
