Karen Reske, was called home to heaven on January 12, 2016, and will be greatly missed by her family. She was born on July 29, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan. Karen was married to her husband Richard for 45 years and during that time celebrated the birth of both Kevin and Suzanne. She also enjoyed the blessing of two granddaughters, Emerson and Genevieve.

Karen served as an accountant supervisor for 30 years at Medar and WTC. During her time Karen showed great compassion and generosity to all she met. She was a positive influence on her family and friends. She loved spending time with her grand babies and reading books about the Amish. She enjoyed the simple things in life and greeted each day with a smile.

A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Downtown Farmington. Karen's family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the 4:00 p.m. celebration service.
