Josephine Nuccitelli was born in Rochester, New York on November 6, 1922. She was married on April 29, 1950 and moved to Detroit, Michigan where she began her married life. She entered Heaven's gates on May 30, 2014.

Josie was predeceased by her beloved husband Pasquale, May 5, 2009, and her cherished son Phillip, July 8, 2013. Josephine is survived by her loving children: daughters Paula May (Jim) and Patricia Marshall (Paul) and son Peter Nuccitelli (Natalie). She also leaves her dear grandchildren, James, Christopher (Erin), Andrew May, Brittany, Dana (Kevin) Sanker, Dominic Nuccitelli, Lauren, Allison and Alexander Marshall, and her great-granddaughter Layla May. Jo also leaves behind her sisters; Mary, Vicky, Carmie and brother Anthony, brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Madeline and Bill, and many nieces and nephews.

Jo was an amazing mother and homemaker, an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals and entertaining her family and friends. She was also an avid card player, especially Bridge.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 6th, from 4-8 PM at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Downtown Farmington.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday 11:00 AM June 7th, at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Road, Farmington, MI 48336.
