Age 55, of Westland, Michigan passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Jon was born January 17, 1962 to Francis and (the late) Fay Ruohonen. Jon was the beloved brother of Nancy Feeny and Kristin (Jim) Hedges. Jon was the loving father of Rachael Leah. Rachael was the shining light in Jon's life. They shared many joys in life – camping, fishing, shooting guns and the love of country music.

Jon is survived by his nephew Ryan (Emily) Feeny and four nieces: Kaitlyn (Shain) Root, Alissa, Erin and Mandy Hedges. Jon was an adored godson of Earl and Joan Hansen, and honored to be a godfather to Steven Nemeth and Eric Reuter. He will also be missed by his loving dog Dash.

Jon is best known for his kind nature, friendliness, his strong faith in God and loving devotion to his family and friends. His love of the outdoors was boundless. He enjoyed spending time barbequing, building bonfires, feeding the local wildlife and collecting guns. Jon was an active member of the Western Wayne County Conservation Association.

Jon will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
