Beloved husband of Barbara. Loving father of Barbara Lynn (Ricardo) McCoy and Michelle (James) Ott. Cherished Pa of Ricky, Jimmy, Megan, and Tyler.
Dear brother of Nancy (Jess) Martindale and Brenda Matycich (Larry Didur). Also survived by his nephews Stephen, Jess Jr., and John Stanley.

John worked for the Farmington Public Schools for over 30 years. He enjoyed retirement traveling with his wife Barbara to Arizona and Florida with their 5th wheeler. He was an avid motorcyclist, hunter, boater, and fisherman.

Funeral Thursday 11 AM at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, Downtown Farmington. Rev. Larry R. Austin will officiate.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday 2-8 PM at the funeral home.

Interment Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi.
