John H. Kurtti of Novi passed away Monday, April 26, 2021, at age 79.

John was born May 7, 1941 in Highland Park, Michigan, the son of Carl and Bertha Kurtti.

Beloved husband of 49 years to Linda; loving father of Michael (Jing Zhu) and Elizabeth (James) Morris; proud grandfather of Anderson, Aiden, Jackson and Henry; caring brother of Lisa (the late Robert) Dwyer.

John was a talented woodworker, he also loved to golf and fish. He enjoyed spending time with family and his church family. He truly was loved and will be missed by all.

John's Memorial Service will be Tuesday, May 4, at 11:00 am with gathering beginning at 10:00 am, at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church 2905 S. Commerce Rd, Walled Lake.

John's service will be concluded by Military Honors rendered by the United States Navy. Private burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
