Beloved husband of Betty for 32 years. Loving father of Sheila, Mike (Terrie), Patrick (Mary Jo), Tom (Diane), Cherie (Forest), Mike (Lori), Debbie (Chuck), Tammy, Patty (Jim) and Robbie. Cherished grandpa of John (Amy), Stacey (Warren), Robert, Carrie (Kenny), Colin, Brad, Patrick, Samantha, Briana, Mikey, Kayla, Jacob and Megan; great-grandpa of Paige, Samuel, Derrick, Ryan, Austin and Brandon. Preceded in death by his parents John and Carrie; brother Calvin and son Martin. Dear brother of Virginia, Merle, Earl (Doris), Dorothy, Nancy, Doris (Larry), Elsie and Francis (Bob); brother-in-law to Nora (Clayton), Leroy, Art (Pat), Jerry, Du Wayne (Ginny) and Carol (Tom). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Monday 10 a.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, downtown Farmington (1 blk. W. of Farmington Rd.).

Visitation Sunday 2-9 p.m. and American Legion Service 7 p.m.

Interment Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi.
