John Joseph Fisher left this life December 29, 2010. Jack was born March 19, 1927 in Detroit, the only child of John Carlin Fisher and Catherine Louise Clemens. He attended DeLaSalle Collegiate High School where he and seven friends formed the Eight Hot Shots. These became the brothers he never had. After high school, Jack joined the Navy where he repaired airplanes until the end of World War II. He married Patricia Endres in 1947. They remained devoted to each other to his last breath. Jack had a passion for woodworking and cooking. He is survived by his wife and children Therese Fisher, Kathleen Badger, Eileen Byrnes, Bruce Fisher, Elizabeth Zanoff, Christopher Fisher and 17 grandchildren. A child, Joseph Fisher, predeceased him.

A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 31st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. Twelve Mile Road, Farmington Hills. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Courtyard Marriott on 12 Mile Road and Orchard Lake Rd. following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, 1820 Mt. Elliott St., Detroit.
