Age 91, in Fort Gratiot. Born in Mohawk, Michigan. A proud U.S. Air Force Veteran of W.W. II. He later work as a Quality Control Manager for the Burroughs Corp.

Beloved husband of the late Helen for 68 years. Loving Father of Keith Winquist and the late Charryl and Stuart Boyd. Cherished grandfather of Kelly Winquist, Jamie Winquist, Heather Boyd and Christopher Boyd. Great-grandfather of Cole and Graeme. Dear brother of Vernon (Dolores) Winquist and Leone Wiitala.

Mr. Winquist was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Anna (nee Lahti) Winquist, brother Chet Winquist and sister Eleanore Younker.

Funeral Friday 11 AM, August 12th, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 35300 W. 8 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, MI 48335, Rev. Gustav Kopka, Jr., Pastor officiating. Entombment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday 3-9 PM, August 11th, at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, Downtown Farmington.
