Age 79, of Farmington Hills. Born in Lincoln Park, Michigan.

Beloved husband of the late Sarah (nee Arakelian). Loving father of Adrian (Luana) of OH, Brian (Jose') of FL and James (Georgia) Horton. Cherished grandfather of Megan, Erica, Michael; great-grandfather of Myles. Dear brother of Michael, Sharon and Cindy.

Mr. Horton retired as Vice-President of National Bank of Detroit in 1991, after 38 years of service in International Lending. He enjoyed book collecting, classical music, history and researching family genealogy. He was a friendly out going individual who loved people and will be missed by many.

Funeral Tuesday 11 a.m. (in state 10 a.m.) at Shepherd King Lutheran Church, 5300 W. Maple Rd., West Bloomfield, MI 48322. Oficiants Rev. Timothy A. Holzerland, Pastor and Pastor Venice C. Douglas.

Visitation Monday 2-9 p.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, downtown Farmington (1 blk. W. of Farmington Road).

Interment White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
