Age 79. Beloved husband of Bridget for 49 years. Loving father of Keith (Amanda), Jamie (Nahrein) and Nancy Atkinson. Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Amy, Ally, Logan and Talia.

Jim retired from Ford Motor Company as an Engineering Manager with 32 years of service to the auto maker. He was an avid golfer, and proud of his 212 yard hole-in-one, which occurred on October 9, 2007 at Huron Meadows Golf Course on the 3rd hole.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, November 30th, at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 29th, and before the service on Friday from 10-11 a.m.
