Irene A. Naasko died peacefully at her home in Wixom on January 27, 2021 at age 101.

Irene was born in South Range, Michigan on August 30, 1919.

Irene and her husband, Edwin Naasko, were founding members of the Finnish Center Association. Irene was also a member of the Detroit Finnish Cooperative Summer Camp Association (Finn Camp) and the Wixom VFW Post 2269, Ladies Auxiliary.

Irene is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Irene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin Naasko, and siblings Jean Lamachio, William T Aro, Edward Aro, Arthur Aro, Helen M Johnson, Russel J Aro, Raymond Aro and Alice Tumele and parents Oscar and Anna Aro.
