Herbert M. Meyers of Farmington passed away Monday afternoon, March 2, 2020 at age 81.

Born February 13, 1939 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Carlton and Katherine Meyers.

Beloved husband of the late Joan; loving father of Julie (Mark) O'Day, Wendy (Ken) Korte and Peter (Michelle) Meyers. He was the proud grandfather of Carlton (Sean) Confrey, William O'Day, Melissa Korte, Jonathan Korte, and Samara Meyers. He was also the proud great-grandfather of Cameron Confrey.

Herb grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan. After thirty years as head of marketing, he retired from Ford Motor Company. He was an avid stamp collector, enjoyed classical music, loved dogs, movies, and great food. He loved his family more than anything and his kindness will be remembered by every person he encountered.

The Meyers family will receive guests 4:00 pm until the 7:00 pm Memorial Service Friday, March 6, 2020 at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home Downtown Farmington.

Memorial donations in memory of Herbert may be directed to the Michigan Parkinson Association or the American Heart Association.
