Age 81, of Livonia, died peacefully with his family by his side.

Loving husband of Marjorie for 53 blessed years. Devoted father of Shelley (Dave) Kuehn Fassezke, Todd (Nancy) Kuehn, and Jason Kuehn. A splendid grandfather of Brianna, Tyler, Ethan, and Olivia Fassezke and Spencer and Madison Kuehn.

Mick was a dedicated and caring teacher for 30 years in the Farmington Public Schools.

He was a veteran who served his country during the Korean War, spending his tour of duty in Berlin, Germany.

Mick loved camping. He drove his family across the country to over 30 states, giving them so many wonderful and treasured memories.


Mick loved repairing, remodeling, and carpentry. He could fix anything and inspired his family do likewise.

An avid sports fan, Mick enjoyed listening to Ernie Harwell's Tigers and watching Lion's football games. Golf and bowling with friends were favorite pastimes.

Mick lived life with integrity, wisdom, and devotion to a grateful family. He was generous with his time, talents, love, and resources.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM (in state at 10 AM) on Saturday at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church 30900 W. Six Mile Rd., Livonia.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-8 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthews Methodist Church in Livonia or the Salvation Army.
