Age 79, of Farmington.

Beloved wife of John for 57 years. Dear mother of David (Lu-in) Herring of Pittsburgh and Shelley (Dorne) Yeager of Maple City, Michigan. Loving grandmother of An-Li and Maia Herring and Torin and Codi Yeager.

Renee was born in Manitoba, Canada and graduated from the School of Nursing at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario as a registered nurse. She became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1959. After working as a Registered Nurse and then staying home to raise her children, in 1978 she began a second career of nearly 20 years in the Administrative Office of the West Bloomfield Schools. An active volunteer, she enjoyed helping at Botsford General Hospital and the Farmington Library. Renee enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing bridge with her many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11th at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Farmington, 33112 Grand River Avenue, Farmington.

Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly on Friday, September 17th at 1:00 p.m.
