Age 88, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2010. Spending her entire life in the Farmington/Livonia area, Mrs. Waack was retired from the Farmington school district. She resided and was actively involved in the Newburgh Village retirement community. She also volunteered at the Livonia Senior Center. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Russell, children Douglas and Michael, and 7 brothers. Survived by children Ruthann, Russell (Rettia), Judith, daughter-in-law Kay, John (Dawn), Tim (Crystal), Jeff (Mark), and Ann (Liz); 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Harvey Chapman.

Funeral Saturday 10:30 AM at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, Downtown Farmington. Deacon Richard Misiak officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday for visitation 3-9 PM at the funeral home.

Interment at Clarenceville Cemetery, Livonia.
