Age 92. In Cedar Hill, Texas. Gladys was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

She graduated from McKenzie High School in Detroit, Michigan, class of 1939. Previously, she attended Leslie Elementary School...and told many wonderful stories of going home for lunch "walking uphill in the snow for many miles, both ways." Gladys loved those walks and talked of them many times.

Beloved wife of the late Gilmer. Loving mother of Donna Marie (Bob) Head, Marilyn Elizabeth (Richard) Collier and Janet Evelyn (John) Love. Cherished grandmother of Rebecca (Vance) Moore, Raymond (Dody) Wiggins, Amy (Kieran) Clements, Carrie (Wayne) Erzberger, Rachel (James) DeMarte, Juliana Love; great-grandmother of Micha, Jake, Megan, Zachary, Molly, Tyler, Austin, Samatha and Kathleen. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She will also be missed by her extended step-family, and church families and friends as well.

Gladys was also prededed in death by her parents, James and Jessie Bartram; sister, Shirley Bartram-Manning; and brother Leslie Bartram.

Funeral 11 a.m. Friday, April 18th, at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, Downtown Farmington.
Visitation on Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. service time.

Interment Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit.
