Age 76. On August 15, 2013 we said goodbye to our loving husband and caring father. Frank was a compassionate and brilliant man who will be dearly missed by his wife Norma, as well as his children, Frank (Tania) Kriegler, Steve Kriegler, Cathy (Tom) Condie, Anne (George) Carr, his step-children, David (Jessica) Nicosia, Gerri (Ralph) Luther and his twelve grandchildren. He died peacefully at home in Livonia MI, surrounded by his family.
Frank was born September 17, 1936 in Chicago IL. He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He and his first wife Nancy moved to Ann Arbor in 1966 where he worked for the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan (ERIM) and Sarns Inc. He was devoted to Nancy who passed away in 1998. He married Norma in 2003 and together they shared many wonderful experiences including trips to Alaska and winters together in Arizona. Frank had a passion for life that included performance driving with the Motor City BMW club, photography, and spending time with his family.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (in state 10:30 a.m.) at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Rd., Farmington, 48336. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.

Frank's family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, Downtown Farmington.

In lieu of flowers, Frank requested that donations be made to the scholarship fund that Frank established in Nancy's honor: Nancy F. Kriegler Memorial Scholarship Fund, Madonna University 36600 Schoolcraft Rd. Livonia, MI 48118.
