Edward N. Hodges, III, JD, 96 died peacefully January 7, 2017.

Loving Husband of the late Beatrice (nee Officer) February 8, 2008. Cherished Father of Pamela Hodges Porter and dear grandfather of Rachel Smeltzer (Dylan) and Adrienne Porter. Great-grandfather of Jordyn Smeltzer.

Former Chairman of Botsford Hospital; General Counsel, New Detroit; Assistant Vice President, Michigan Bell Telephone; Executive Director, Fair Employment Practices Commission. Graduate of Wayne State University Law School.

Proud Navy Veteran of WWII. The family wishes to thank the staff of Botsford Continuing Care Center and Heart to Heart Hospice for their care and support.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 11th 1:00 p.m. at Westminster Church, 17567 Hubbell Street, Detroit. Rev. Mary E. Austin officiating.
