Edith (Harmala) Hilman, 82, passed away at Hospice, New Port Richey, FL on February 18, 2016.
Edith was born in Calumet, MI on August 7, 1933, a daughter of the late Eino and Esther (Paananen) Harmala.

She graduated from Calumet High School in 1951, received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Schoolcraft College in 1975, and her B.S. degree from Oakland University in 1984.

Edith was the beloved wife of Joseph Hilman for 38 years and upon retirement from Chrysler, in Detroit, she spent the summers in Hale, MI and the winters in FL.
Preceding her in death were four brothers, Elwood, Elmer, Ernest, and Edwin, one sister, Evelyn Soronen-Bjorklund.
Surviving are one sister, Ethel of New Port Richey, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Howell with Donald Pennala officiating.
Spring burial will be at the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet.
