Douglas lost a courageous battle with Mantle Cell Lymphoma on
January 5, 2009 at the age of 52. He fought the good fight and never surrendered.


Beloved husband of Judy Cerett-Mullett. Loving father of Trevor, Brock, Chase and Cole. Dear son of Myron and Phyllis (Rupp) Mullett of Alliance, Ohio; and brother of Vicki (Greg) Vasto, Pam (Bruce) Hickinbotham, Cindy (John) Donelan and the late Greg Mullett.

Mr. Mullett graduated from Mount Union College with a Bachelor's of Science in Geology, Wright State University with a Masters of Science in Geology, and Kent State University PhD. (abd) in Geology. He was employed by the Ohio Department Of Natural Resources, Division of Geological Survey.

Mr. Mullett was active in the Boy Scouts of America for the last 30 years in many capacities, including Den Leader and Cub Master for Pack 45 of Longacre
Elementary. He was also the recipient of the honorary Wood Badge Award and the John Burroughs Nature Award. He was also the holder of the Fifth Year
Pipestone Award through the Ohio Buckeye Council and was a member of the Order
of the Arrow.

He will be remembered for his kindness, gentle soul and devoted
love for his wife and sons.


A funeral service will be held Friday 11 AM (in state 10:30 AM) at First
Presbyterian Church of Farmington, 26165 Farmington Rd., Farmington Hills, MI 48334. Officiant Rev. Dr. Sue Ellis Melrose, Pastor.

Visitation Wednesday 4-8 PM and Thursday 2-8 PM at THAYER-ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 33603 Grand River Ave. (1 blk. W. of Farmington Rd.), Downtown Farmington.
