Age 79, of Lachine, Michigan at Medilodge of Hillman, Michigan. He was born to Harry and Margaret (nee Cayton) Boyce in Farmington, Michigan. Donald married Janet Loomis on October 5, 1957 in Farmington, and together they had five children. Formerly of Milford, Michigan the two have resided in Lachine for the last seventeen years. Donald was a member of the American Legion Post 65 in Alpena, Michigan. He was an avid builder and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Above everything, he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends.

Donald is survived by his wife, Janet Boyce; sons: Donald, Mark (Susan), David, Gary; daughter, Julie (Keith) Janes; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother Richard (Marguerite); and brother-in-laws: Joseph Armstrong, and Truman Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Margaret, as well as siblings, Lillian, Buddy, and Claudia. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place through the Green Funeral Home, in Atlanta, Michigan.

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd, from 5-8 PM, with a Memorial Service at 7 PM at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, Downtown Farmington.
