Dionisio Mendoza of Farmington Hills passed away January 22, 2021 at age 97.
Born February 7, 1923 in Pagbilao, Quezon, Philippines.

Beloved husband of the late Maria; loving father of Oscar (Thelma), Lilia (Jose), Gloria (Roberto), Reden (Robert), Gerson (Jennifer), Miriam (Scott) and the late Marissa. Caring grandfather of 21.

He was a hardworking fisherman in his younger years. Fishing became his hobby when he migrated to the U.S. He also liked playing the ukulele. Most of his time was spent surrounded by his grandchildren and great grandchildren that he dearly cared for.
He is a calm man and always with a smile on his face. Great memories live in the hearts of all whose lives he has touched.

The Mendoza family will be hosting a viewing for Dionisio Mendoza at the Thayer-Rock Funeral Home located at 33603 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI, from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, January 29, 2021. A funeral service is planned for 11:00am on Saturday, January 30, 2021 also at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be live streamed please click here.

We will be following the latest health guidelines and are permitted to have no more than 25 people in attendance at one time for visitations and funerals. Masks are mandatory. Please refrain from handshaking and embracing family members and one another.
