Age 73. Beloved husband of Naomi for 45 years. Loving brother of Vernetta Phillips. Also leaves 25 nieces and nephews, 51 great nieces and nephews and 20 great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Friday, July 17th, 11 a.m. (in state 9:30 a.m.) at Brightmoor Christian Church, 40800 West 13 Mile Rd., Novi, MI 48377 with Military Honors as part of the service from the United States Marine Corp.

Visitation Thursday, July 16th, from 2 - 8 p.m. at Thayer - Rock Funeral Home in Downtown Farmington.
