Daniel Clarke Petersen, 30, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, passed away on April 22, 2020.

Daniel was born on September 6, 1989, in Southfield, Michigan. Daniel is survived by his parents, Donald and Debra (Crane), and his sisters Lauren (Eric), Katherine, and Bethany, and his two nephews. Daniel is also survived by his grandmother, Elizabeth Crane, and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Daniel had a love for animals, swimming, and going to the movies. He enjoyed being in a gamers club and other activities at the Living and Learning Enrichment Center. He spent time being a bingo caller at his grandmother's assisted living. He also enjoyed participating in Special Olympics. Daniel will be remembered as a kind and caring soul.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, July 23 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24 at 3:00 pm at Greenmead Historical Park in Livonia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Michigan Humane Society or the Living and Learning Enrichment Center.
