Cherished Grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 2.

Neil attended Sioux Center Community High School, Sioux Center, IA, Washington University, St. Louis, Iowa State Teachers College/ University of Northern Iowa, University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado, and the University of Chicago Theological Seminary. Neil was a proud World War II Army Veteran, Dearborn Public School teacher and UCC Minister.

A memorial service will be held at Salem United Church of Christ, Farmington, in the spring.
