Christine Ann Dobson (Kemppainen) born Dec. 19, 1950 in Hancock, MI died Apr. 30, 2020 at Beaumont Hospital Taylor, MI from COVID-19. She was residing at Imperial, a Villa Center, Dearborn Heights, MI.

Chris was born in the U.P. and moved with the growing family to Flint and then Redford Twp before graduating from Thurston HS in 1969.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Arvo and Sally Walitalo and Emil and Kaisa Kemppainen, parents Bruce and Shirley Kemppainen, 1st husband Mark Lentz and daughter Heather Lentz, 2nd husband Christopher Dobson, sisters Pam Smith and Mary Takala, and brother-in-laws Bill Jameson and Hugh Smith.

Survived by her sisters Jane Kemppainen and Sally Huhta (Mike) and brothers John (Shirley) and Robert (Catherine) and brother-in-law Donald Takala, 6 nieces and nephews, and 8 great nieces and nephews.

Chris will be cremated and moved to Pelkie cemetery with the remains of Christopher Dobson at a date to be determined.
