Cheryl Ann Barry of Farmington passed away Thursday morning, September 10, 2020 at age 64.

She was born July 22, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan.

Cheryl is survived by her mother, Marjorie Orrin; Her siblings, Donald Heikkila, Rebecca Welford (Heikkila) and Michael Heikkila. Cheryl is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Barry II, her father, Leslie Heikkila, and her eldest brother, Warren Heikkila.

She was the beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her sense of humor brightened the life of family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Cheryl enjoyed going to Tiger Stadium and Comerica Park to watch the Tigers, traveling to Acapulco, Mexico, and golfing. She was employed by Ginopolis' of Farmington Hills, from where she retired after 30 years of service. Cheryl attended Warren Road Light and Life Free Methodist Church.

Cheryl's family will receive guests from 2:00 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M. Funeral Service Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at the Thayer Rock Funeral Home in Farmington.

Donations in lieu of flowers in memory of Cheryl may be gifted to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
