Loving father of Robert (Hope) Mellis, James (Barbara) Mellis, Joyce (David) Durbin and the late John Wilfred Mellis.
Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey (Beth) Mellis, Jill (David) Penn, Brent (Tara) Mellis, Benjamin (Zaneta) Mellis, Steven (Nirali) Durbin and Kari Durbin; great-grandfather of Andrew, Sarah, Tyler, Kylie and Kenzie Mellis. Dear brother of Esther Andersen.
Committal Service with Military Honors on Thursday 1:30 PM, July 23rd, at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Providence Park Hospital, Novi, MI.
