Age 62. Born in Detroit, and grew up in Redford Township, Michigan.

Dear son of Bobbie E. Billington and the late Everett Ralph Billington. Brother of Gary (Denise), and sisters Gail (Gary) Heist, Laura (Ron) Pearson and Carol (Ted) Ackerman. Father of Jeanette (Jim) Swanson, Rodney (Karen) and Michael (Lindsay) Billington. Grandfather of four.

Barry moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1987 to work as a Plant Engineer. He was a proud U.S. Army Ranger Veteran, and was a member of Peach Corners Baptist Church in Norcross, GA.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Corinda Greenway Billington, and step-children Michelle (Steve) Dings, Renee (Brant) Barber, Aleshia (Ryan) Rodriguez and six step-grandchildren. He was buried in Tucker, GA on May 21, 2009.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 2nd, at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home. Rev. Danny L. Langley, Pastor of Crosspointe Meadows Church officiating.
