Beloved wife of the late Donald F. Welday. Dearest mother to Mary Urick, Patricia (Wes) Graff, Paul (Valerie), Douglas (Cheryl) and the late Michael Mumrock. Loving grandmother to Julie (Jim) Welch, Jennifer (Nicholas) Blum, Matthew Urick, Nick Welday, Amanda Graff, Jacqueline Welday, Hannah Graff and Natalie Welday. Great-grandmother to Zachary Blum. Beloved sister to Joanne Steele, and preceded in death by siblings Edys Davis and Edgar Capp.

Barbara was born September 12, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Edgar T. and Lillian Clapp. She spent most of her career as a legal secretary, but most enjoyed pursuing her creative pastimes, which included painting, gardening, jewelry making and entertaining family and friends. She was a beautiful example of strength and love to all who knew her.

Visitation Tuesday, July 10th, 12-8 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, July 11th at 11:00 am at Thayer Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Ave., Farmington.
