Mr. Geersens retired from Detroit Diesel after 20 years of service.

Funeral Mass Thursday 10 a.m. (in state 9:30 a.m.) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Road, Farmington. Officiant Rev. Fr. James A. Smalarz.

Visitation Wednesday 2-9 p.m. (Rosary 7 p.m.) at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, downtown Farmington (1 blk. W. of Farmington Rd.).

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
